Hospital Staff

 

Christine Frawley RCVS RVN

Originally from Liverpool, Christine qualified as a veterinary nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2004.

She decided to go further a field and moved to Ireland in 2006 and has been working with us as our head nurse for the last 5 years. She has a 14 year old crossbreed dog called Sally.

 

 

 

 

Amy Dowling BScVN RVN

Amy began her career working with animals after studying a veterinary assistant course in Killester College in 2004.

While there she worked in the D.S.P.C.A, helping with abandoned and injured animals.

She then went on to study Veterinary Nursing in Athlone, which she graduated from in May 2008.

Amy has worked at the Animal Hospital since March 2006. She has a 9 year old Shih Tzu called Tammy and a 1 year old cat called Ducky.

 

 

Eileen Gallagher BScVN RVN

Eileen began her career in the Animal Hospital as a transition year student on work experience. She enjoyed her time so much she decided to persue a career in Veterinary Nursing and went to Athlone Institute of Technology, while working with us part time.

She graduated in May 2010 and has been working full time with us since then. She has a 1 year old cat called Mac.

 

 

Lisa Brennan

Lisa attended Killester College in 2005 and did her work experience with the DSPCA. She knew her future would be with animals, be it nursing or animal welfare.

She came to work with us in July 2006 as an animal care assistant and is currently applying to complete a course in veterinary nursing. Lisa has 2 Cavalier King Charles, Jennie and Bambi, as well as a Chihuahua called Charlie.

 

 

 

Tracy Moran

Tracy began working with us as a volunteer in the summer of 2007, which has led to her pursuing a career in veterinary nursing. She hopes to attend a course in the near future.

In Oct 2007, she took a full time position at the practice as an animal care assistant. Tracy has a 16 year old cat called Kitty and also Daisy, a 3 year old crossbreed.

 

 

 


Pamela Collie

Pamela came to us in February 2008 on work experience. She is just finishing a veterinary assistant course in Killester College. She works in the practice when we need some extra hands when things get busy. She hopes to further her studies and go on to study Veterinary Nursing in the near future. She has a 3 year old Boxer called Rocky.

 

 

 

 

Nicola Brennan

Nicola joined us in Jan 2001 part time as a veterinary nurse and groomer. After starting her own family, she concentrated more on grooming and has been looking after the beauty needs of dogs since then. Nicola has an 11 year old Jack Russell Terrier called Wags, a 5 month old crossbreed puppy called Flo and a 2 year old cat called Inky.
